EuropaCat 2025 – 16th European Congress on Catalysis

EuropaCat 2025, the 16th European Congress on Catalysis is organized under the European Federation of Catalysis Societies (EFCATS) and hosted by the Nordic Catalysis Societies. The event is scheduled to take place in Trondheim from 31 August to 5 September 2025. The congress brings together academic scientists and industry professionals engaged in fundamental and applied catalysis research, covering topics such as reaction engineering, materials science, electrochemistry, photocatalysis and industrial catalyst technology. Themes for special sessions include ‘Electrification of catalytic reactions and reactors’, ‘AI-driven catalysis digitization’, and ‘Catalysts under dynamic conditions for energy storage’. Exhibitions, poster presentations, plenary lectures (including awards such as the Michel Boudart and Robert K. Grasselli Awards), along with networking opportunities will be held at the Clarion Hotel Trondheim and Pirsenteret.
